Eight Years Gone
It’s been eight years since John walked on. The earth keeps moving and not a lot has changed except that those who loved his music don’t have anything new to look forward to.
Fortunately for us, John left us a lot of music. He loved to record and he loved to perform. Put those two things together and you have an astonishing body of work.
To honor him today I’m doing something a little different.
Here’s a track from the Bite My Foot cd released in 1999.
I think you’ll like this one. There aren’t many like it for us to listen to.
Paul.
Thanks for this. I’m proud to say it was my cassette of that concert (sent to me by his then manager after I mailed him the first issue of Omaha Rainbow) that was used for the eventual release of Bite My Foot.
All good wishes,
Peter
